Somatic Nature Experiencing
- 2 minsA held space for a range of nature-related practices.
The vibe 🌊
To feel your cheek on a tree. To lie down, watch a cloud and hear the birds. To be imbued with the magic of the beautiful Gaaperplas.
I spent a few years somatically experiencing the place myself and I have found a little corner of paradise for us to practice 😊
The structure 🧑🏫
Check-in & intention setting. 90 minutes of unguided somatic nature experiencing. Check out.
I’ll offer you the option to join me in somatic nature experiencing (and give handholds), but I also welcome the simultaneous happening of other practices. Think of:
- Just enjoying nature
- Mindful walking
- Yoga
- Sleeping
I believe that all of these practices benefit the collective energy of the group and allow us to practice deeper as opposed to when we are doing it alone.
Note that we are doing this in a public park. That means the energy of others will influence us. I will provide qualitative tips on how to incorporate this into your practice.
What, where and when? 🗓️
The event will be on the 8th of May 2026 from 10.45 - 13.30 at the Gaasperplas in Amsterdam.
We meet at the Gaasperplas metro station near the statue. Please be on time (10.45-11.00 is the arrival window) and let me know if you are coming in late. My phone might be turned off after the event start time!
Cost 💰
This event is unconditionally given. That means it’s a gift to the world from me, and I have no expectation of reciprocity (If I do somehow, please contact me with your feedback.)
I make this happen by personally funding my events as well as spending a huge amount of (unseen) time on organizing.
So - the events happen no matter what I get in return. But like any human, I do appreciate support, recognition and care.
That is why I do have a donation page, experiment with a widely broadened definition of energy exchange and have various personal quests available.

Practicalities 🧴
- There is some construction happening in the area but since the park is huge I don’t reckon we’ll be bothered by it.
- Increasing your comfort increases your feeling of safety which allows you to dive deeper into your practice. Sunscreen, tick remover, picnic blanket, bottle of water (there is a refill close by), fresh fruit to share. I’ll bring most of these as well!
Feedback 📒
Your feedback helps me to shape the events that I organize. Thank you!
